Tameka & Usher Raymond are back in court today for their emergency emergency custody hearing over their two young sons. Pics and deets from inside the courtroom inside... *We will be updating this post with developments as they come*

Tameka Raymond is fighting to gain custody of her and Usher's two sons, Naviyd& Usher V.

Cinco almost drowned in Usher's home swimming pool this week, and Tameka claims the singer is to blame for the near-fatal accident because the five-year-old wasn't being properly supervised.

The two are battling it out in the Superior Court of Fulton County this afternoon.  And we've got the pics from inside the courtroom and their courtroom fresh arrivals:

Usher has already submitted denials of all accusations made by Tameka in her filing for an emergency custody hearing.  She claimed Usher's only physically present for the kids 85% of each month, he has incapable people supervising the children, and more.  Usher denied all of this and simply said Tameka is not capable of caring for the children.

UPDATES

- Tameka Raymond took the stand and stated that last night, Usher V's heart almost stopped. She claims she sent several texts to Usher and he never responded or showed up.

Usher has just taken the stand.  He is explaining why he waited several hours to call Tameka.  He waited until after he & Usher V rode in the ambulance and arrived at the hospital.

- Usher explained how he received the call about Usher V's incident, "I received a call from Grace Miguel, my manager [and his girlfriend]."  He then explained that actually, the first call came from his Aunt Rena.  But then the call with more clarification on what happened came from Grace Miguel.   He says he didn't actually speak to Aunt Rena -- which is confusing -- and he doesn't know if Grace was at his home at the time of the accident.  But Grace was there once he arrived minutes later....

- Usher says he's renting the home where the incident took place.  He said he has previously informed the kids on pool safety: Not to jump in a pool unless an adult is around and not to run around the pool.

-Tameka's lawyer in final arguments says that this constitutues an "emergency" custody situation because of Usher's lack of communication and lack of supervision of the kids.  The lawyer also mentioned a history of bad parenting, accusing Usher of having a gun laying the house for 3 days, certain supervisors no being able to life 50 pounds (weight of the kids) due to disabilities,

-The judge dismissed Tameka's request for custody, but told Usher he needs to communicate more with Tameka about his travel, work plans.  Usher hugged Tameka afterwards.   But they literally ignored each other's presence when they arrived and sat in courtroom alone.

The emergency custody hearing is now over.  And Usher has maintained custody of his and Tameka's two sons Naviyd & Usher V.  See how Usher attempted to comfort her afterwards below...

Judge Goger in Fulton County Superior Court just dismissed Tameka Raymond's request to regain custody of the ex-couple's sons during this emergency hearing. 

Tameka's lawyer argues that Usher does not effectively communicate his travel plans, leading her to not know who is watching over her kids.  The judge said the lack of communication Usher has with Tameka does not constitute an "emergency," and an "emergency" is required in this hearing.

During the hearing, Tameka broke down in tears and was extremely upset about the incident that happened. Through tears she sobbed when speaking about their youngest son Naviyd, who cannot swim, jumping into 8 feet of water to try to save his brother. Here's video:

And when all was said and done, Usher went over to Tameka's table to offer up a hug and said "Sorry."  This was suspect since both Usher & Tameka ignored each other totally upon first arriving to court and sitting directly across from each other before the hearing began.  Was this done for the cameras?

So everything will remain status quo. Usher will maintain full custody and Tameka will have visitation.

Fashion Week in New York City might look a little different this year if a new social media campaign to increase diversity has it's way.  Get the deets inside and find out what billionaire widow is allegedly dating one of Washington DC's former mayors. 

For a very long time, numerous articles have been written about fashion's lack of diversity.  And while there have been some leaps forward (Dsquared used all black models in their 2013 campaign (atop); PRADA hired its first black campaign model in 19 years(directly below)), industry veterans like supermodel Iman and former casting agent Bethann Hardison ARE NOT please with the progress. In a new article published in the NY Times, many notable voices in the fashion world call attention to the lack of diversity in fashion and how it drastically impacts other areas of social life.

So why is diversity so important? Former supermodel Veronica Webb said it best,“....this is where a lot of young women get their idea of beauty from. When you see someone that looks like you...it makes women feel beautiful, and it makes women feel they belong.”

Iman, who was quoted extensively in the piece, added,

"There is something terribly wrong… We have a president and a first lady who are black. You would think things have changed, and then you realize that they have not. In fact, things have gone backward.”

So what are the next steps? The article hints at a social media campaign (that may begin BEFORE NYC's fashion week) that will call out designers who don't hire black models.

Bethann said, "No one in power slaps these designers around… All I want to say is, you guys have a lot of explaining to do. If you are going to be bold enough to do it [only cast white models], then please be bold enough to explain it.”

While the social media campaign is still be planned, Iman already seems on board with the efforts.

“It feels to me like the times need a real hard line drawn like in the 1960s, by saying if you don’t use black models, then we boycott. If you engage the social media, trust me, it will hurt them in their pockets. If you take it out there, they will feel the uproar.”

Both Silicon Valley and Washingtin D.C. are buzzing about about former D.C. mayor Adrian Fenty dating Laurene Powell Jobs, the billionaire widow of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs.

According to the Washington Post, the former mayor first headed to the Valley with a gig at Andreessen Horowitz, one of Silicon Valley’s largest venture capital firms. From there, he met Laurene Powell Jobs at a Houston education conference in 2011 where they bonded over a shared passion for school reform.

In February 2012, the couple started working together as Adrian joined the board of College Track, a non-profit college prep program for underserved students co-founded by Laurene.

The source told the WPthat it's important to note that Adrian and Laurene's romance began AFTER Adrian's separation with his DC socialite wife Michelle in January 2013.  And for folks wondering, no one suggests that Laurene play a role in ending the marriage. 

So far, neither Adrian nor Laurene have made comments about their alleged romance.

Today's emergency custody hearing between Tameka & Usher Raymond ended in Usher's favor.  But Tameka had some words after her request for custody was dismissed.  Check out what she said inside....

Today's hearing was about Tameka asking to temporarily have custody of the kids until a full hearing occurs (August 27th).  At the full hearing, she will ask to modify how much time she gets with the kids and custody decisions will be made.

When asked by HLN's Ryan Smith how she felt about the outcome, Tameka said:

"I just want to get back to where my son is. I'll be back in court on the 27th. And we'll revisit all of this. It was only a very small amount of evidence that was allowed because this was an emergency and we were trying to get something changed immediately. But for the long term, I'll see on the 27th."

And about how Cinco's doing:

"He's doing OK. Getting back to normal. Soon I'll be with him."

But it's that hug that Usher walked over to her table to give, once the judge ruled that Usher would keep full custody, that folks were wondering about.  When asked what Usher whispered to her, Tameka laughed and said:

"That was a media ploy…."

Womp.  Her lawyer cut her off saying, "It was private".

Rapper Big Sean is on hand this weekend helping his girlfriend, "Glee" star Naya Rivera break into the music biz solo.  But of course, he had to lend his assist...and a bottle of Dom...on her big premiere day at Power 106 on Friday.

Looks like Usher V is getting back to normal.  And his mom Tameka Raymond is posting picture updates to let everyone know his progress.  Check out what's going on inside, plus Chris Brown's seizure explanation....

Cutie Usher V is resting up in the hospital and is expected to get out in a few days, according to reports.  And his mom Tameka, after losing her request for emergency custody of her and Usher's two sons, is still keeping it positive.  She posted the above pics of her sons Ryan, Jr. and Naviyd chillin' with their brother in the hospital saying:

And it seems like Cinco is more concerned with "Fresh Prince" than anything else:

Cute.  Glad to see he's doing A-Ok.  But Tameka has more fights on her hands.  She returns to court August 27th for a full custody hearing.  And she and Usher have been battling it out over child support payments since before this pool accident.

TMZ reports Usher filed docs earlier this month asking to pay a lower rate than his $8,000/month child support payments for Usher V & Naviyd.  Why?  Because he and Tameka never re-adjusted the payment requirements since Usher gained full primary custody of the kids.  So he feels he's been overpaying for the last 7 months, and wants to lower that ish.

And as for Chris Brown, he refused treatment after his seizure on Friday.  But now, we've learned why the seizure happened in the first place.

Breezy's rep told Us Weekly that it happened in the studio Friday morning and it was a non epileptic seizure (NES) brought on by stress.  The rep added:

"His doctor tended to him this afternoon and attributes the NES to intense fatigue and extreme emotional stress, both due to the continued onslaught of unfounded legal matters and the nonstop negativity."
 

That explains why Chris threatened to quit the music biz just a few days ago saying it would make mainstream America happy. 

Meanwhile, Chris just shot his "Love More" video featuring Nicki Minaj.  And he was spotted above doing a technical scout of the location.

Reports are surfacing that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have NO plans to sell pics of their daughter North West.  Find out how the couple maybe "reveal" pics of North inside and get the deets on George Lucas and Mellody Hobson welcoming a baby girl home.  

Earlier, we told you about the wedding of financial guru Mellody Hobson to George Lucas and now we can report that the couple are parents. The Huffington Post announced exclusively that on Friday, August 9, George and Mellody welcomed their baby girl Everest Hobson Lucas home. Everest was born via a surrogate and joins George's other adopted children, Amanda, 32; Katie, 25; and Jett, 20.

In today's believe or not news, reports are surfacing that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have no plans to sell the "highly-anticipated" pics of North West.  So does this mean we won't get a chance to see the baby?  Of course not.  It just means that the publicity hungry couple aren't going to use the baby as a part of their gravy train (in this case).  

Though the couple has been offered millions (some numbers as high as $3 million), its been speculated that the baby may turn up in a high-fashion glossy like Vanity Fair or the couple maybe go the Jay Z/Beyonce route and release a pic via social media.

In other Kanye news, if you are in the market for a Hollywood Hill bachelor pad, Yeezy has dropped the price of his home from $3.15 to $2.8 mill!

Even though they've been technically married for a year, "Basketball Wives LA" star Gloria Govan and Clippers baller Matt Barnes had their big official wedding over the weekend.  Check out their lavish Santa Barbara nuptials with friends and fam in tow inside...

Last year while "BBW LA" was still on the air, Gloria broke the news to her cast members that she had skipped over to Vegas and gotten married to Matt in a secret ceremony with only a few people present.  She said then they would have a huge wedding for all their friends and fam soon, and this past weekend, they did.

Here are the details: The wedding was indeed filmed, but not for "BBW: LA."  We've been told that the reality show starts shooting again this week, but Gloria and Bambi will NOT be involved.  No word yet on where this wedding will be shown, but we're sure it's getting shopped around for a spinoff.

Matt had a few of his Clippers teammates--Blake Griffin& DeAndre Jordan--there for support.  And his good friend and sis-in-law Laura's long time fiance Gilbert Arenas was also there.  And serenading them at the wedding--Power 106 radio host Big Boy.

Gloria walked down the aisle to Tupac's "All Eyez On Me."  So Cali with it...

Singer Robin Thicke, who arguably has one the biggest song of the summer with "Blurred Lines", covers the summer 2013 issue of VIBE alongside fabulous "Q.U.E.E.N." singer Janelle Monae.  Loving the sexy, vintage rat-packish feel of the shoot.

The summer issue also serves as the magazine's 20th anniversary issue (it was launched by Quincy Jones in 1993).  VIBE celebrates its anniversary with the release of three unique covers for the magazine’s highly anticipated ‘Juice’ issue featuring Robin Thicke with Janelle Monáe, Nas with J.Cole and Daft Punk with Pharrell Williams.

In the accompanying article, the singers repesent the varying degrees of R&B music with Robin from the blue-eyed soul side of things and Janelle taking the reigns with a funkier-progressive edge.  The two talked to the magazine about the new rules of music and how they both push boundaries.  Here's an excerpt:

THICKE: Well, not just that, but when you think about Stevie Wonder, or even Michael Jackson, you don’t say, ‘They’re R&B singers.’ You say, ‘That’s Stevie Wonder music. That’s Prince music.’

THICKE: I hope that after I make my 10, 20 albums people just go, ‘That’s Robin Thicke music. And when they hear Janelle, they know that’s Janelle Monáe music.’ That’s what we both try to accomplish. Even “Blurred Lines,” which is my greatest success…

THICKE: Sounds a lot like my other music. I love all kinds of music, so I can’t possibly just make one kind. I’ll make a song called “Shakin’ It 4 Daddy” with Nicki Minaj, and then a song that sounds like Jimi Hendrix that’s all guitar and live music. Most of the music I’ve made is live band instrumentation, no drum machines.
MONÁE: Same with me. We just finished [recording with] the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, and then came back and rocked Coachella. I get very bored with the concept of marginalizing music and saying because I’m an African-American woman I [have to] stick to this genre. My iPod [has everything] from Judy Garland to James Brown to Prince to the Talking Heads. It just needs to be great and it needs to move me.
THICKE: In the history of American music, black radio and white radio were segregated. But once everybody had rights…
MONÁE: And could be on the cover of their album…
THICKE: And white people are on the cover of VIBE and black people on the cover of Rolling Stone, there are no more rules and that’s how it should be. We shouldn’t be judged by our color or one song that we made.
MONÁE: We should be judged by the jam. Is it jammin’?
THICKE: Music is exploding right now and always will, because it’s not about the sound. It will always come down to the artist. What are they doing? What are they saying and how are they saying it?
MONÁE: And is it believable?

Rihanna is fresh off her vacay in her native Barbados.  And she kept the party going by jetting straight to Miami to party it up Sunday.  And after leaving the club at 3AM, she hopped her jet straight to NYC.

Rocking her own hair and cut off shorts with an American flag tee, "Stay" singer Rih was seen leaving Club SPACE in Miami last night. She first hit up a house party, and then continues partying until the next day leaving SPACE at 3AM.

And what did she do right after?  Hop her jet to NYC.  She's got the 2013 MTV VMAs to prepare for...we assume:

The bad gal snapped a few pics with friends as they made their way to their NYC hotel.  Fun times.

Tyra Banks was spotted peeking around the corner outside her friend Jennifer Klein's Annual Day of Indulgence party in Brentwood this weekend:

We're not sure if she was going for the weekend flower power grunge look, or if she needs a good nap and a some Argan oil, but Ms. Banks wasn't looking herself this weekend.  We expected her usual fun loving and gorge self to emerge from what was a festive occasion, but....no.

In good news though, she's got some serious "Top Model" Cycle 20 premiere ratings.  It's the series highest rated cycle so far in two years!

And in other hair tales, Robert Griffin III showed off his new ~hurrr~ in a press conference today.  Looks like the Redskins baller found himself a braider who got rid of...whatever that was before....and gave him some clean cornrows.  Oh, and he had to get designs with them, obviously.

While we wish he would just cut all the braids all together, we're OK with the baby steps.  Check him out talking about his new 'do below.

Y'all know his new wife Becky is cursing him out right about now for getting this done AFTER the wedding.

The Randomness:

1.  Now that NYC's infamous "Stop & Frisk" policy has been declared by a judge to be unconstitutional, Mayor Bloomberg says he will appeal the decision.  STORY

2.  Nicki Minaj unveiled her brand new Minajesty fragrance ad.  STORY

3.  Judge in Paula Deen case throws out race-based claims, saying the plaintiff has no standing to sue since she was not a victim of the alleged discrimination STORY

4.  Rapper Mac Miller nearly collapsed on stage while performing in Phoenix this weekend.  STORY

5.  "Extra’s” AJ Calloway and wife Dionne welcomed a beautiful daughter, Amy Belle Calloway, today.  STORY

Though LisaRaye McCoy divorced former Tucks & Caicos Prime Minister Michael Misick a long time ago, his name is still closely associated with her.  And in case you were wondering what happened to him......he's in jail!

A little back story.....Michael was jailed in Brazil after the country's federal government picked him up for a warrant issued about an ongoing government corruption case.

So just to clear things up, Michael's brother, Phillip Misick, explained why his brother is in jail.  He tells the Turks and Caicos SUN,

“What a lot of people don’t know is that Mike was re-arrested because the British and the SIPT lied to the Brazilian authorities and told them that Mike has applied to Argentina for political asylum and was considering going there. That was not true at all, but that was the reason why they denied his asylum appeal. The Brits and SIPT did that; just like how they lied to the Brazilian authorities by telling them that Mike was charged in the Turks and Caicos Islands and skipped the country, when up to this day he has not been charged with a single offence,”

So why are we hearing about this now? Rumor has it that Michael is about to cut a deal that may implicate several US citizens in wrongdoing. Once that news leaked, Michael releases a statement saying this isn't true:

"I hear the TCI Journal and their British sponsors is up to their old tricks by putting out online a bunch of bull s**t about me. These people are so low and will stoop to anything to try to further destroy me. I am strong in my faith and will never give up no matter what they do...All I can do is keep on praying and be patient that God will soon deliver me from prison here either home or free here in Brazil.”

So to sum things up....Michael is in a Brazilian jail, but hasn't been charged with anything.  And you thought brothers only had it bad in the U.S.....

Kendrick Lamar just bodied this new "Control" track.  It's actually Big Sean's track but Kendrick took it over.  Check out why he had all of Twitter going crazy last night inside, plus Miley Cyrus just dropped a freestyle on "Aint Worried About Nothin""

Big Sean kicks off the track with one of the best non-corny, non-pop verses we've heard from him in a while as he lets the world know it's Detroit Vs. Everybody.

But then Kendrick took over letting the world know why he's the King of both coast, and called out every rapper in the forefront right now.  This verse had folks all a-Twitter:

I heard barber shops debate the greats all the time
Who's the best MC? Kendrick, Jigga and Nas
Eminem, andre 3000, the rest of yall
New niggas just new niggas, dont get involved
And i ain't rockin no more designer shit

Oh?  He then went on to call himself the King of NY and the King of both coasts.  And since we loves us some Kendrick, we're not even mad.

Jay Electronica wraps the track, but not sure how many people paid attention to the verse after Mr. Lamar pretty much bodied the track.  Go off Kendrick!

Supposedly this No I.D.-produced track was cut from the Hall of Fame (Aug 27th) album due to issues of getting the sample cleared.

And in other rap news that had folks a-Twitter, Miley Cyrus decided to take her ratchet Miley persona (even though she claims she hates when people label her that way yet she KEEPS saying that's what she wants to be) one step further. She and French Montana decided to remix his "Aint Worried About Nothin" track and gave folks a preview straight from the studio:
