Kanye brought his "New Slaves" performance to the El Rey Theater in L.A. last night via a special appearance during the Travis Scott show.  Travis is a Houston rapper who's on the come up and was named MTV's "Artist To Watch".

The new papa has been mostly in hiding with his baby moms Kim K.  Good to see him still hitting the stage every now and then.

Also in L.A. last night, Justin Timberlake shot his scenes for the new "Holy Grail" video.  Jay-Z wasn't pictured on set since he had a full day with appearing on Bill Maher's "Real Time" and premiering his HBO project for "Picasso Baby".

June Ambrose was also spotted on the set working her stylist magic.  Looking forward to seeing how all the visuals shape up...

Rihanna is back home in Barbados now that her Diamonds World Tour is over.  So she threw on her white sexy monokini to dance it up in the streets all night.  Peep the pics inside, plus Naya Rivera's new sing she has her boyfriend Big Sean co-signing...

While in town for the big Carnival parade, the Bajan pop diva threw on her chucks and her sheer swimsuit to partake in the fun & foolery.

We saw it coming!  Jennifer Lopez is on deck to return to "American Idol" and is just a snap away from finalizing the deal, reportedly.  Check out how much that paycheck will be, plus why will.i.am may be joining the panel of judges....

Remember the rumors about J.Lo snatching back her "Idol" judges spot from Mariah Carey?  They were shot down previously, but now, a deal is in place.

According to Deadline, Jenny is perched to take a $15 million check from Fox and an announcement will likely take place in the next week or two.

Keith Urban will reportedly stay on, and will.i.am is supposedly first in line for the third judge's seat vacated by Nicki Minaj. 

So much for a full overhaul of the judges' panel with all new faces.  But we're not mad about seeing what J.Lo's fabulous self will once again be rocking every week.

By the way, reports state "Idol" alum Jennifer Hudson was a contender for the third judge's spot, but it's going to will instead.  No word on if there will be a fourth judge.

The couple, who have 3 kids, two daughters and a son who lives with Aspergers.

Next for D.L., he's set to do stand up for "UP Comedy Club Presents..." this fall in Chicago.

President Obama turns 52 today.  And he's ringing in his new year in true vacay style.  Find out how he's spending his birthday weekend inside...

Mr. President took his wife, kiddies, family and a few long time friends to Camp David last night after spending the weekend golfing with friends.

The Associated Press gave the details saying:

The White House said the president's three golfing foursomes included some of his friends from Hawaii, where he grew up, and Chicago, where he lived before becoming president, along with current and former aides.

Among them were childhood friends Bobby Titcomb and Mike Ramos, and Chicago pals Marty Nesbitt and Eric Whitaker. White House aides Marvin Nicholson and Sam Kass, an assistant chef, rounded out the group, along with Reggie Love, who for years had been Obama's personal assistant, or "body man," and basketball buddy until he left the White House in late 2011 to work on getting an MBA.

Due to the limited number of seats, only the winners at golf — Love, Kass and two other players — got to join Obama on the presidential helicopter. The losers went the long way, by car.

First lady Michelle Obama traveled to Camp David separately.

No word on what he's doing tonight, but we do know the Democrats in Congress presented Prez o with a birthday cake last week and sang Happy Birthday.  How politically cute of them.

The Obamas are also set to spend some time at Martha's Vineyard later this month.

We wish Mr. President the most fabulous of birthdays!

Holly Robinson Peete hosted the HollyRod Foundation's 4th Annual "My Brother Charlie" Family Fun Festival in L.A. yesterday.  Peep the pics of her gorge fam inside, plus her celeb friends who came out to support....

Actress Holly Robinson Peete and her hubby Rodney Peete hosted another HollyRod event this weekend.  It was to celebrate Holly's book with her daughter, Ryan, called My Brother Charlie.

The book is about Ryan's twin brother Rodney, Jr. who has autism.  So the fam (all pictured above with the two youngest kids as well--Roman & Robinson) all went out for a big family fun day in honor of the book.

How fab is Ryan!  She and her bro turn 16 this October.

Denzel Washington, Paula Patton & Mark Wahlberg had themselves a winning weekend as their flick 2 Guns topped the box office charts at #1.  Find out how much money they banked, plus Micheal Jordan's alleged baby mama gets punished....

Hotties Denzy & Marky Mark took over the box office this weekend raking in $27.4M and that #1 slot.  They surprisingly beat out Smurfs 2 & Wolverine, and we're sure it's because you can't help but want to see Denzel & Mark slangin' guns and conquering lady detectives like Paula Patton.

The movie was predicted only to make about $22 mill.  And since it only took $61 mill to make, they're going to break even and profit in a few weeks.  Most audience members were tracked to be young men and African Americans, so it looks like our community supported our own heavily.  Fab.

By the way, this flick was based on a Boom! Studios comic book by Steven Grant.  Who knew...

And in other older hot men news, Michael Jordan's alleged baby's mama Pamela Smith is getting slapped on the wrist for her publicity stint, as the judge called it.

After she swore up and down and filed court documents stating #23 was the father of her teen son, the judge called B.S. on the case.  As did Michael.

Pamela dropped her case back in March, even after Michael's attempt to dismiss it was rejected.

She's now been fined by the courts.  According to TMZ, the judge ordered Pamela to pay up for her antics a few weeks ago:

The judge says Pamela FAILED to mention that paternity was established way back in 2003 -- and M.J.'s NOT the daddy.

The judge called Pamela's bogus claim one big publicity stunt, pointing out she hired a publicist before even getting a lawyer ... and then dragged Michael through the mud.

The judge ordered Pamela to pay Jordan's legal bills -- $9,704.13.

Could have been a much worse punishment.  Meanwhile, we're sure Pam still REALLY believes Mike is her baby's daddy.  Poor thing....

Singer K. Michelle has been doing Rebellious Soul press and during recent promo stops, she revealed her songwriting inspirations and "allegedly" admitted to having a fake booty!  Get the deets inside....

During a recent promo stop through K104 Dallas, singer K. Michelle chatted it up with DeDe McGuire (pictured above) about Rebellious Soul (in stores August 13th).  After the interview (in a snippet we would have loved to actually hear on tape). DeDe questioned K. about her onion and apparently got an admission that we'd all suspected.  

Well there you have it......allegedly. Or maybe she just does a lot of squats.

On the "feeling" of finally having an album released:

It really hasn't hit me that I have an album coming out, I've just been doing promo for ten years.  I'm enjoying the ride and meeting my fans.

On future projects:

I have my own show coming on VH1. It's just about me as an artist.  I'm opening up my first business. I'm a mother. I moving to New York and I'm new to this love thing.  It's about that. It'll be coming out soon.

On "The Judds":

The Judds were the first tape I ever got.  They are really storytellers and that's why my lyrics are so in detail.  Every word counts in songwriting  The Judds, Dixie Chicks, and  a lot of different people taught me about being a songwriter as well as R. Kelly.

The Love & Hip Hop: ATL” reunion airs on VH1 today at 8pm and Part II airs next Monday, August 12 at 8pm on VH1, with both hosted by Mona Scott-Young.

Singer Mya is back on the party scene.  Not sure what she was spending her time doing, but we do know she's now working on a new album.  And still looks hot.  Pics inside from the Toxic Day Party this weekend with ballers and more...

The chick guys drolled over during her 'Case of the Ex" days...and still...is back on the scene.  We're told ballers & rappers were eyeing singer Mya during the entire ToXic Day Party on Saturday at Lure in Hollywood.

Mya looked great in a two piece pink and white bodycon look and posed for pictures.  She hit the DJ booth and sang along with Big Sean's DJ, Mo Beatz, and was probably seeing which ballers were checking for her.

Kevin Durant came through with James Harden, and stopped by Wale's section to share a "bromance" moment.  Chicago Bulls' Taj Gibson was also in the builiding.

NBC star Lance Gross and "E! News" anchor Terrence J downed some cocktails as the chicks were on gawker mode. 

Soulja Boy thought people wanted to her his version of "Versace Versace"....twice.

And Bridgette Kelly (not pictured) and a scantilly clad as usual Draya Michele were also there.  Her body though....Work.

Over the weekend, Beyonce's Mrs. Carter Show World Tour played the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.  It's a three show stint going from Saturday to tonight.  P.S....We attended last night and that ish was flawless.

Baddie Bey debuted a new costume change for BK finales, a custom Gucci black and white beaded top, white pants and red pumps.

Backstage last night, Bey posed with actress Quvenzhane Wallis, who's starring in the Jay Z produced remake ofAnnie.

And Bey, JT And Jay posed for a few photos with the fab Mrs. Carter Show dancers backstage Saturday night.   

And over on her Tumblr page, Beyonce posted a few pics of the road signs she passed enroute to the Barclays Center.

Oprah Winfrey just unveiled the latest hair-raising cover for "O" Magazine and it's one of our favorites!   See the cover inside and watch a clip of her Lindsay Lohan interview and find out what TGT allegedly did to upset Fantasia!

Oprah Winfrey instagrammed the latest "O" cover and it's definitely one of our favorites.  She tweeted, "Just revealed this new cover of @O_Magazine - 1 of my faves ever - Let's talk about HAIR!Following".

And over on the OWN Network, which has turned a profit, Oprah landed a high-profile interview with Lindsay Lohan (in addition a new reality show starring the troubled actress).  Watch the first look here:

Fantasia (shown above with radio host Kendra G from the "Ryan Cameron Morning Show" on V-103 Atlanta, had a showdown with TGT at the Atlanta Civic Center.

So what happened? Fantasia was TGT's opening act and the drama started when Fanny was not allowed to do a sound check, so it seemed from Fantasia's telling of the story.  For entertainers, the sound check is critical and the failure to do so could lead to a bad show. SInce Fanny was "allowed" to do a check, one might obviously interpret the act as a slight.  

After that, Fantasia (who heading back to Broadway for After Midnight) claimed that her background singers' mics were turned offduring her performance of “Lose to Win.” This lead to Fanny walking off the stage.....

In the audio clip, you can hear the disgust in Fantasia's voice as she blames the headliner for her sound check issues.

Meanwhile....after the show:

Fantasia's manager Brian posed with Tank and said,"My looooong time friend Tank @therealtank and I after the show. Great solo artist follow and support him."

We're thinking that since Brian made mention of Tank as a friend AND "solo" artist, BUT didn't mention the other acts (Ginuwine and Tyrese), the tension with Fanny may stem from the other two.

Terrence Howard is back in hot water with his ex-wife.  Apparently, they thought it was a good idea to reunite to take a trip together.  And now....she's accusing him of beating her...again.

Deets inside, plus the latest in 50 Cent's domestic violence case...

Best man Holiday actor Terrence Howard & Michelle Ghent divorced this past May after some serious domestic violence issues.  But they thought it would be great to reunite for a trip to Costa Rica recently.

TMZ reports Terrence took Michelle and several family members on the Costa Rican vacay and all hell broke loose.

Michelle filed a restraining order saying Terrence beat her badly during an argument.  Terrence says Michelle maced him and his oldest daughter first, so he fought back.  "Sources" said Terrence was simply trying to cover up his brutality.

If you'll recall, Michelle accused Terrence of punching her in the face just 7 days into their marriage.  Sigh.

Meanwhile, 50 Cent is also still in his domestic violence drama.  Since he was accused of kicking his ex, booty model Daphne (Joy) Narvaez, and destroying her Toluca Lake property, he had to go to court today to brandish all his weapons.  He also has to stay 100 feet away from her while the case is active.

Daphne's reps also will not confirm if she and 50 have a child together like it was previously reported.

So after 50 showed up in a courtroom in Van Nuys, California this morning, he was told he had 24 hours to turn over all his weapons.

If convicted, the rapper faces up to five years in jail and $46,000 in fines.  This guy,,,,

Former Destiny's Child member LaTavia Roberson and her baby daddy Don Vito hosted a few of their celebrity friends during a baby shower in Atlanta recently. See the pics inside....

Over the weekend, former Destiny's Child member LaTavia Roberson and her baby daddy, record producer Don Vito (from "RHOA" and "The Kandi Factory") threw a swanky baby shower in celebration of the upcoming birth of their baby girl Lyric.  Yes, she already has a name apparently.

Thrown at Atlanta's Future Visions event hall, the shower was attended by some of LaTavia's long time friends like Shamari Devoe and Brandy Harris of the group Blaque and Meelah Williams, formerly of 702.

And of course, LaTavia's friend and former DC bandmate LeToya Luckett was also at the party.

After LeToya left the baby shower, she headed to another venue to have a few cocktails with her girls Valeisha Butterfield Jones (who is shooting a reality show), Keri Hilson and Keshia Knight Pulliam. She tweeted,  "great food, greater convo w/ these gurls!!"

After dinner, the ladies took their poses to the streets with Keshia tweeting, "After dinner photo shoot!! #ATLshawty".  Everybody looks fab as always.

Chris Brown took his girlfriend Karrueche Tran out for a fun day at the fair this weekend.  See their candids inside and find out how Kanye West will make history at the MTV VMAs this year.  

Taking a much needed break from the hustle and bustle of LA and his past and present legal woes, "Fine China" singer Chris Brown took his girlfriend Karrueche Train to the 2013 Orange County Fair recently.

And Chris put his athletic powers to use, winning a few prizes for Karrueche.  Isn't that...special.

The twosome were friendly with fans, taking time to hug folks and kiss babies.  

And it looks like the couple didn't pull the "celeb" card and actually waited in line to get on the rides like normal folk.  

In other music news....

Kanye West will make MTV history when he walks onstage to perform "BLKKK SKKKN HEAD" (from the #1 album Yeezus) at the 2013 VMAS on August 25 at 9pmET.  Taking place at Barclays Center, Kanye will enter the history books by tying Madonna as the artist with the most VMA performances (seven!).  Lady Gaga has also been announced as one of the performers at this year's broadcast.  

Kanye, who's won three-VMAs, made his VMA debut with Chaka Khan in 2004 doing a medley of Jesus Walks, All Falls Down and Through the Wire. But it was 2009 (a year he didn't perform) when he crashed the stage during Taylor Swift's acceptance speech that's probably his most (in)famous VMA moment.

We wonder what he'll get into this year...

Rihanna and her bestie headed back home to Barbados to party with the locals to partake in the Crop Over festivities. See Rih Rih and Melissa in their festive costumes where they're nearly naked inside……

Over the weekend, the tight & toned Rihanna and Melissa Ford  partied in their homeland, Barbados, and partaking in the festivities for the annual Crop Over festival and the wild finale parade that went down today.

She ran into her grandfather Lionel Brathwaite and gave him a sweet hug. Then she got back to her parade "activities":

On her Instagram, Rihanna shared pics of her latest bedazzled barely-there ensemble that she wore at the historic Kadooment Day Parade today.  And just like a couple years ago, she tapped into her bad gyal side and showed it all and grinded it out on the ground and on...people.

Willow Smith is back with another deeper-than-we-thought-a-12-year-old-could-feel track called "Drowning".  Check out the melodic track that's all about being drowned by the actions of a deep love, plus Tamar Braxton's new "Love & War" album cover...

Apparently Willow Smith is going through some things.  The pre-teen released a controversially sensual video "#SUMMERFLING" last month.  Now she's back with a brokenhearted-style song featuring Mecca Kalani.  The somber yet pretty piano-ballad is all about a girl who suffered a broken heart at the hands of the boy she loves.  And he's watching her drown in her sorrows, yet he can't move on himself.

Tamar Braxton has released the cover photo from her forthcoming disc Love And War.  Dropping September 3rd, the disc will feature the #1 single "Love and War", "Hot Sugar" (which premiered on "BFV") and her summer jam "The One."

It's Lady O!  After debuting her MAJORLY BIG HAIR issue of Oprah Magazine on Monday, she showed up with her own big curls and a custom sequined THEIA cocktail dress for her big premiere for Lee Daniels' The Butler.

The reps from THEIA tell us her dress was fit and altered just hours before the premiere. THEIA's Creative Director, Don O'Neill, had the pleasure of meeting her for the first time. Nice.

She brought her man Stedman along and looked happy as pie about her big premiere.  And we can't even blame her.  Chick has her money and her man.  Work.

Jane Fonda posed it up with the cast members and director Lee.

Forest Whitaker, the star of the movie who portrays former White House Butler Eugene Allen, hit the carpet looking great.  He kept it dapper in Prada as his wife Keisha rocked a black Badgley Mischka gown to match her hubby.  Lovely.

Fantasia brought out the black and gold and metallic leopard pumps.  Not our fave look for her since we noticed she stepped her fashion game up recently and expected a sexy chic look.  But we can appreciate the risk taking....

Co-star Terrence Howard brought his daughter on the carpet amidst horrible reports of him beating up his ex-wife again.

He also posed it up with co-star James Marsden who portrays late & former President JFK.

Keshia Knight Pulliam kept it fab in this black and white number.  Flawless as usual.

Co-star Yaya Alafia brought her baby bump and new hubby to the carpet.

Pregnancy indeed suits her well.  Such a cute baby bump!

Lenny Kravitz brought his real life Godmother, Cicely Tyson, as his date to his big premiere.

"Grey's Anatomy" star Jesse Williams popped up looking delicious.  We feel a bit guilty drooling over a married man.  Just a BIT....

Gayle King brought her daughter Kirby on the carpet for her bestie O's big night.

Andre Leon Talley and this big tented satin cape hit the carpet with Anna Wintour.  Where are we going with this ALT?

And "High School Musical" star Monique Coleman  hit the carpet in a simple white cocktail dress.

Looks like Terrence Howard is still engaged in dramatic ish with his ex-wife.  Their recent trip together was obviously a bad idea, but it took a restraining order and another bout of alleged domestic violence for the two to realize that.

Terrence Howard and his youngest daughter Heaven (above) attended last night's premiere of Lee Daniel's The Butler.  But the movie's co-star had to keep his cool about all the drama going down with his ex-wife right now.

Yesterday, it was reported that his ex-wife Michelle was preparing to file a restraining order after a recent trip with Terrence's fam went extra wrong.  She claimed he beat her down during an argument, and Terrence says she maced him and his family.

Today, Michelle is heading to court.  But Terrence (or his lawyers) are expected to tell the judge that Michelle threatened to kill him and she's got mental issues.

Terrence says it was just a "normal married fight" even though they are indeed divorced, but when Michele whipped out the pepper spray on him, his kids and his daughter's husband, ish went left.  But he says he never touched her.

TMZ reports:

We've learned in today's hearing, Terrence will give the judge text messages from last May, in which an angry Michelle writes, "I would start hiding if I were u." In another text she writes, "Be careful when u leave your place. U should move." And in yet another she writes, "I know where u and ur family live. Watch yourself."

Michelle also texted back in May, "You need to be put down once and for all. I will not stop until all knows who u are."

In the police report Terrence says Michelle tried to commit suicide 2 months ago and was hospitalized and diagnosed with paranoia. And she seems to confirm that in one of the texts, in which she says, "I'm just insane. I went to a crazy institute."

So whose bright idea was it to take a family trip with the ex in tow?

Lawd not D'Angelo!  The singer who we've all been anxiously awaiting a serious comeback has suffered a serious setback.  

Apparently the "How Does It Feel" crooner is suffering from a mysterious ailment and he's canceled several show dates--at least 4.

Reportedly, he's been hospitalized for a "medical emergency" but no one has revealed exactly what the emergency was or is.

Spin reports:

"It's serious, but he should be OK," the Tribune says D'Angelo's agent told a House of Blues executive, while Live Nation said the singer “expresses his sincere regret due to this unfortunate circumstance.”

D'Angelo canceled his appearance in Baltimore this weekend and headliner of the show, Erykah Badu, teamed up with Common to fill that slot.  His upcoming show in Chicago tomorrow at the House of Blues is now canceled.  And his shows in New York and San Diego last week were also cancelled.  His Friday show in San Francisco is still on...for now.
