Rick Ross is telling friends that Reebok shouldn't have dropped him as a spokeperson since he's the one who made Reebok Classics "relevant" again. Get a dose of Rick's big ego inside and see him switch to the "swoosh"...

Now that Reebok has dropped him as a spokesman, Rick Ross is feeling some kind of way and posting pics of himself switching it up from Reebok Classics to Air Jordans.

You'll recall that when the "U.O.E.N.O." controversy first jumped off, Rick didn't pay it any mind.  In fact, he pretty much ignored it.  It wasn't until women's activist groups started putting pressure on Reebok that he even bothered to offer a half-assed apology.

Fast forward to this week, sources close to Rick revealed that he stands to lose between $3 to $5 Million bucks because he was getting a check everytime he wore the shoes....so now he's pissed.

Yesterday, Rick offered his own passive aggressive statement (possibly aimed at Reebok) by posting a new pic of himself rocking Jordans with the tagline "Another day at the office. #DoubleM"

His friends told TMZ that he thinks he should have been offered "corporate forgiveness" since he made the brand relevant in the hip hop game again. 

But don't expect a response from Reebok.  They've already said, "We are very disappointed he has yet to display an understanding of the seriousness of this issue or an appropriate level of remorse."

We have to agree with Reebok.  If Rick and his PR team were truly remorseful, he'd be signing on with a non-profit group that helps rape victims...not posting pics of Air Jordans.  #stillthesame

Rihanna's been spending her time all over Instagram recently, while apparently covering from an ongoing sickness. Check out what she posted on a fan's account to explain her illness and why she cancelled Houston inside....

Rihanna was spotted back in Beverly Hills yesterday going to the doctor. She then told her fans, via one of her infamous Rihplies on someone else's account, that she feels "sad and disappointed" that she had to cancel her Houston stop this week. But she's actually been since since her San Diego date weeks ago, she says.

Interesting since we've seen her partying hard with her bestie Melissa for her b-day this past weekend in Vegas, tossing back drinks courtside at the Clippers game last week, and cruising around L.A. with her boo Chris Brownrecently as well.

One of her fans popped off on her saying:

'You not sick you out having fun. How dare you plan a tour then forget your responsibilities!! You need to also be focused on your career. I paid good money for these tickets n they were a surprise for my lil sis 18th bday n now we can't even go!! (sic).'

Even if Rih is truly sick, it may be best to skip all partying & "outings" all together and sit on that tour bus and give your body a break...since you're sick and all.  Or at least don't Instagram the constant partying & drinking & smoking that you're doing....while claiming you're sick.  Just some suggestions.
 

In other news, some online reports pegged Rihanna as the new face of Chanel due to one of her mysterious Instagram pics where she rocked Chanel and said she was shooting a "top secret ad campaign."  Chanel spoke out saying she is indeed not the face and is not shooting for them. 

It could have been for her upcoming MAC campaign though....

Fantasia hosted a listening session for her Side Effects Of You album last night with Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland among the attendees celebrating her return. See the photos inside...

Like a scarlet letter, Fantasia endured many trials and tribulations with her most recent relationship.  She's been under of the watchful eyes of fans and critics, and sometimes it's gotten the best of her (remember those Instagram rants?).  But now Fanny has taken those displaced emotions and put them right back where her fans want them.....in the studio. 

Celebrating the upcoming release of her rock-soul disc, Side Effects Of You (April 23rd), Fantasia stepped out in LA last night with short auburn hair and a scarlet red dress that announced her return.  And she looks GREAT.

Held at London Bridge Studios in North Hollywood, Fantasia played the disc for a room full of celebs and tastemakers, while giving a special shoutout to her producer Harmony Samuels (shown atop).  "Thank You All SO VERY MUCH!!!! SIDE EFFECTS OF YOU IS DIFFERENT AND VERY SPECIAL.. @harmonysamuels. THANKS LOVE"

Fela! star Michelle Williams showed off her amazing figure and gave Fanny some love and support.  Fantasia tweeted, "Why I Love You SO MUCH?? CAUSE YOUR SO REAL... CANT WAIT FOR YOUR ALBUM BOO"

And proving that she didn't burn any bridges when she left her run on Broadway, Fanny got support from some folks from her past.  "Ally Willis FROM COLOR PURPLE.. STILL SUPPORTING THE GIRL"

And possible new "X Factor" judge Kelly Rowland rocked a hot pair of zebra-striped pumps and red pants for the record release. 

Meanwhile, Kelly is gearing up for the release of her own Talk A Good Game album.

Season 2 of "L.A. Hair" is on the way.  And we've got the exclusive first look at which celebs are popping up in new season, Kim Kimble and her team of stylists, and all that drama that goes down inside any given hair salon....

On this season of "L.A. Hair", Kim and her stylists work on high maintenance clients like Faith Evans, Michelle Williams, Fantasia, LisaRaye, LeToya Luckett, Vivica Foxx, Kyla Pratt and tons more.

And if you watched last season, you saw the typical salon drama of stylists backstabbing each other to be #1, a newbie stylist having the nerve to try to double cross her employer--Kim,  all the catty drama amongst the stylists.

And it's all continuing in season 2, except Kim's got a brand new salon.

The 2013 BET UPFRONTS were held yesterday with Kevin Hart, Boris Kodjoe, Gabrielle Union and other network stars all in attendance to promote their shows.  See the pics inside...

Kevin Hart, who stars in BET's record-breaking series "RHOH" helped present the BET Networks 2013 New York Upfronts yesterday in NYC.

Kevin celebrated the success of his series by posing with BET's top execs Stephen Hill and Debra Lee.

Kevin also posed with model Selita Ebanks who had a few choice words for him after he jokingly said she was unattractive.  She tweeted, "So icy" says Chris Robinson #RHOH @kevinheart says "im unattractive" #phuckHisLil'Ass LMFAO"

Kevin, who hugged fellow network star Gabrielle Union, seemed to be in high spirits following his recent DUI bust.

Gabrielle introduced a few scenes from her upcoming scripted series "Being Mary Jane."

Funnywoman Sommore was there to promote the reboot of BET's "Comic View", which she'll be hosting.

"Real Husbands Of Hollywood" star Boris Kodjoe posed with wife Nicole Ari Parker.  The twosome is also working with BET on their own project.

Fellow "RHOH" star Nelly posed with Stephen Hill.  You'll recall that Nelly said he won't be rushed into marriage....so there's no telling when he'll become a true "husband" of Hollywood.

"Apollo Live" judge Gladys Knight showed that she's still keeping the weight off after her stint on "DWTS".

Original "Dreamgirls" star Sheryl Lee Ralph, who'll be starring in the NickMom series "Instant Mom" with Tia Mowry-Hardrict, looked great.

Legendary diva Chaka Khan, who's looking GORGEOUS these days, performed for the upfronts' audience.

The hosts of "106 & Park" Shorty da Prince, Paigion, Miss Mykie, and Bow Wow posed together.  Love the look, but let's wear shoes that fit next time. 

Chris Tucker, who's been announced as the host of the 2013 BET Awards, posed with CEO Debra Lee.

The stars of "The Sheards"  J. Drew Sheard and Kierra Sheard attended the upfronts. Kierra also performed during the event.

"Apollo Live" host Tony Rock came to promote his show (with Gladys Knight, Michael Bivins and Doug E. Fresh) which airs on Centric.

Singer Miguel also entertained everyone in the audience.  Looks like a classy event was pulled off by BET.  Nice!

E.J. Johnson gave his first interview since coming out a few weeks ago where he reflected on the "outing", revealed his thoughts about attacks on his character and how he hopes to inspire others through his experience. Watch the interview inside....

After his "outing" made headlines around the world, E.J. Johnson (who has the full support of his famous father, mogul Magic Johnson) spoke to "Gwissues" host and interviewer Howard Bragman (who's also his publicist) about what life has been life since he was first "outed" and how he hope to use this experience to help others. He also addressed the barrage of criticism that was directed his way via social media and how he was able to lean on his family for support. Here are the highlights:

On being "outed":

"For me, it was really surprising because I didn't think it was gonna be that big of a deal. I had been out to my friends and my family for at least five years. It was almost as if I was coming out of the closet again so like reliving the experience has just been both exciting and interesting rather because I've been through it but to have the media involved is just different but I'm reveling in it.

"I always wanted to come into the spotlight.  I always had dreams and plans of doing my own thing and creating my own image, so it came a little sooner than I thought it would but this is still something I knew I would be going through and would have to experience."

On social media attacks:

They’d say nasty things about me and what I’m doing … It’s almost like they’re attacking me for being me.....and so to that I can only say, ‘Well, I can only be myself, so I don’t know really what you want me to do.’”

On receiving support from his family:

"I am very, very, very blessed to have the family that I do. My parents have always been super supportive. My sister and I have always been really close and she's been really supportive as with my brother. When it was time to come out, I was, obviously, scared as most people are. After I got all the love and support from my family then I knew I could go out and conquer the world, I guess."

On coming out to his parents, Magic and Cookie:

"I told her how I was feeling and she obviously told me that she had known and always would love me anyway. The same thing happened with my dad like a year or so later. Everyone has to get used to it. No parent is prepared 100 percent and fully for something like that. We all had to work and move forward."

On being a role model:

"I definitely want to set a really good example....I would love to have a talk show someday and just be another voice for [my] generation and, you know, be the voice for young gay people who need someone to be on TV or wherever else to talk to them, and talk about all kinds of issues that all of us face. Not just homosexual issues, but all kinds of issues."

Love 'em or hate 'em, Jay-Z & Beyonce have turned their last 10+ years as a couple....into a billion dollar empire.  And you've got to respect a YBF couple for turning that out.

According to International Business Times, Shawn Carter & Beyonce Knowles Carter are the first couple in music to join the billion dollar club with their joint incomes.

The dual 2013 VOGUE cover girl is reportedly set to rake in $116 million on her Mrs. Carter World Tour.  And in addition to that rumored $50 mill Pepsi campaign and multi million dollar H&M campaign, Beyonce helped pushed the couple's joint money power across that billion dollar mark this year.

Jay is super successful in his own right, of course, constantly topping FORBES richest Hip Hop artists lists and his stakes in beauty companies, music companies and sports teams.  And now, pending his approval from the NFLPA commission, he's about to start funneling NFL clients into his own Roc Nation sports agency, with the help of CAA.

FORBES' highest paid celebrity couple of 2012 is now our first billionaire couple in music.  And since we doubt either of them are about to stop raking in money anytime soon, Blue Ivy and her great grandchil'ren are already set for life!

Marriage can be one of the best business deals in the game, especially when the love seems genuine as well.  Can't be mad at that.

Rapper Tyga may have fine jewely, fancy cars and iced-out teeth, but it's not due to Young Money/Cash Money Records...cause he claims they're holding back his royalty checks!   Hear Tyga explain how he's "independent" yet signed to a major label inside...

During an interview with Power 105's Breakfast Club, Tyga confirmed what Juvenile, B.G., Manny Fresh and other have claimed for years.....royalty checks from Young Money/Cash Money records don't make it into the hands of the artists!  Y'all know his baby moms Blac Chyna's ears perked up when she heard there's possibly more money to be had.

As Birdman and Co. have long been accused of "witholding" money from their artists, Tyga all but confirmed it on the air.  But there's no hard feelings as Tyga explained that he thinks of himself as an independent artist.  He can still afford the bling and luxuries of the hip hop world through the tours and endorsements he secures on his own.  He said,

"I never got a check from Young Money/Cash Money. But by me saying that, I’ve always treated my career like independent and everything that I got is because of myself, my own endorsements, me touring, myself. I think I got a signing bonus when I first signed but that was it.”

Damn!  He added,

“I felt if I wanted to be independent...I could do that because it would be no difference. I would still tour, put out albums and still sell out shows.”

And he's not holding any grudges because he's got his money right,

"At a certain time, you get your money but at the same time, they pay for your videos and all that other stuff. But I never really was dependent on the label like that."

Tyga's third solo album, Hotel California, is in stores now (but he won't be getting many checks from it).

Paris Jackson shot the cover with an in-depth interview with EVENT Magazine where she talked about dancing with her father MJ, her childhood and reconnecting with her birth mother Debbie Rowe.  The pics show a model in the making. Here are the highlights:

On being raised by the King of Pop:

"I have lots of memories of my father," says Paris, tapping the side of her head. "We were privileged because we had our dad and we had our house that we were living in [Neverland]. We knew he was a singer. I guess I got used to it. It just seemed normal to me at the time.

"He was an incredible father. We all loved him to death. He had that good energy where you just didn't want to leave. Like, you're always just comfortable with him."

"He wanted the best for us. He always made sure we were healthy. He made sure we stuck to school. He'd try to educate us as much as he could and was always looking out for us. He was very protective."

On wearing the masks and veils:

"The masks were [my dad's] idea," Paris explains. "He didn't want anyone [in the media] to see what we looked like. That way we could have what he didn't, which was a normal childhood."

On dancing with her father:

"My dad taught me how to dance. I would always dance. And yes, he did teach me the moonwalk!"

On reconnecting with her mom and living a normal childhood:

"I want to have a normal high-school experience, [but] it's hard to hard to have a normal childhood when you have security with you all the time. I'm on a tight leash and I feel if that leash was loosened a little bit I would definitely have a chance at a normal childhood, because I have friends who are completely normal, and hey -- they don't even think of me as MJ's kid. They think of me as who I am, you know?"

When I'm with my mom, we don't really have security with us. Which is really nice."

K said she will appear on this season of the show, which kicks off Monday.  But it's a wrap on her appearing on that show after this season.  We'll see if she switches over to another VH1 reality show.

She also told her Twitter fans that she's grown a lot from the table shaking angry chick we saw previously.

Who knows what GOD has in store 4me. All I know is I'm tired of being the Kmichelle that has to curse everybody out. I've found my smile

For anyone who had their doubts about the casting of Drew Sidora, Lil' Mama and Keke Palmer in the roles of T-Boz, Left Eye and Chilli for the VH1 biopic, "Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story", a first look at the ladies "in character" proves they may just do this some justice.

T-Boz tweeted a pic of the ladies with a collabo comparison of herself, Left Eye and Chilli from the original video shoot for "No Scrubs" saying, "Ta-Dow how ya like me now... #DemTLCguls next 2 the girls playing #TLC"

We have to agree, the ladies look great in their roles and we're super excited about the film.  The biopic recently wrapped production in Atlanta and is expected to air on VH1 later this year.

Kelly Rowland is looking effortless gorge as always as she was spotted shopping in L.A. yesterday.  We've got the pics of the possible new "X Factor" US judge, plus Chrisina Milian& Jas Prince's date night at last night's huge Lakers game....

Miss Kelly is done with her new album, Talk A Good Game, and before she starts full on promo before it drops June 4th, she's been chilling out all over L.A.  Yesterday, she hit up Flight Club for several pair of new sneakers:

Kelly recently talked to E! about whether she's ready to add Mommy to her list of roles in life.  And that's a No-Go for now:

"I'm not ready. I'm not ready to have a child. I like my time, I like to wake up whenever I want to and I like to come and go as I please. I don't know if I'm ready to share that time with another person, I don't wanna mess them up."

We definitely feel that.

Christina Milian was spotted hopping out her Bentley as she and boyfriend Jas Prince arrived to the Lakers game at the Staples Center.  Rocking high waisted sliced and fringed jeans with Louboutin boots and a bustier top, "The Voice" correspondent kept it cute as she cheered on the home team to help them secure that #7 spot going into the playoffs. 

Chris & Jas have been dating a while, even rumored to be engaged, but time will tell.  Hope she's getting some good music, producers, perks out of it.  She loves herself a man who can "assist" in her career.  Can't be mad at that....

TIME Magazine has published its 2013 list of the world's most influential artists, politicans and newsmakers and Jay-Z, Miguel, Frank Ocean, Beyonce and President Obama are among those names.  Find out more about the list inside...

Hip Hop moguel Jay-Z, who just nabbed a major spot as one half of the music's first billionaire couple, lands on one of seven covers for the TIME Magazine TIME 100 issue.  In its tenth year, the magazine announces its choices for the most influential people in the world and this year includes numerous Black artists, politicians and public figures.  Among the surprise notables this year are the well-deserved singers Frank Ocean and Miguel. That's BIG.

Inside the magazine, TIME recruited a different celebrity writer to give their thoughts on each individual chosen for the list. Here are the highlights:

On Jay-Z, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg writes…

[Jay-Z's] an artist-entrepreneur who stands at the center of culture and commerce in 21st century America, and his influence stretches across races, religions and regions. He’s never forgotten his roots — “Empire State of Mind” was a love song to our city — and as a co-owner of the NBA Nets, he helped bring a major league sports team back to Brooklyn, not far from his old neighborhood. Other YBF notables on the list are Senior Advisor to the POTUS Valerie Jarrett, producer Shonda Rhimes, NBA champ LeBron James, Attorney General Kamala Harris, Nigerian actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, superstar Beyonce Knowles Carter and FLOTUS Michelle Obama.

The Randomness:

1.  Luke James has been chosen to once again open for Beyonce on the Mrs. Carter Show world tour.  He begins on April 24th at the Paris stop.

VOGUE Netherlands has joined the growing list of European publications putting non-Black models in blackface.   See the controversial pics inside and speak your piece on the "blackface" craze in fashion magazines....

As the "blackface" craze continues, it's beginning to look like European fashion editors and photographers are under the assumption that the world is lacking beautiful BLACK models worthy of their editorials.  Or that there's no harm in painting non-black faces black for "creative" purposes.

We told you a while ago about French fashion magazine Numéro using a white model to pay tribute to African Queens and now, Vogue Netherlands has used a white model to pay tribute to Grace Jones and Josephine Baker!

In the editorial, which was intended to honorMarc Jacobs' 2008 and 2009 seasons (which took inspiration from Grace and Josephine), Vogue Netherlands painted model Querelle Jansen's face black and used wigs to mimic the texture of black hair.  This follows a long list of other fashion mags (Vogue Paris, L'Officiel Hommes, V) that have all used blackface in recent years.  We have to ask....were all the Black chicks booked for other gigs?

It's no wonder the winner of "The Face" , Devyn Abdullah, didn't want to be identified as "Black" since European mags don't seem to hire Black models....even when the editorial is tributing someone of African descent!

Should Black readers (around the world) be outraged at this outright refusal to use Black models?  Or do we just say anyone of any color should be able to portray black figures...in black face...

SPEAK ON IT!

The mother of Chicago Bulls (injured) star Derrick Rose's son, Mieka, usually stays under the radar.  But we've got pics inside of her hanging out with their baby boy and Lil Wayne's baby moms, Sarah Vivan, at last night's Bulls game...

So...these two are good friends it seems. Baller Derrick has been great friends with Lil Wayne for a while now, so it's only right D-Rose's baby moms becomes besties with one of Weezy's.  So Mieka and Sarah Vivan spent last night cheering on the Bulls with baby Derrick "P.J." Rose, Jr.  Sarah snapped a few pics with the little one below and with Mieka above:

How cute!  PJ is 6 months old and reppin' his dad from head to toe.

Mieka posted a few other pics of herself on her way to previous games, like the one above.  Looks like she and Derrick are still on as a couple...

Kelly Rowland, The Dream, Jesse Williams and Larenz Tate came out to support guitar-virtuoso Gary Clark Jr. in concert this week.  See pics from the jam-fest inside...

Earlier this week, rock and soul guitar-virtuoso Gary Clark Jr. (above--whose music is described as Texas Blues) performed before a sold-out audience at The Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood. Shown above with Warner Bros. COO Livia Ortella, Gary is one of the most prominent guitarists in the music industry.

And with his music being featured in movies like Think Like A Man, and the Don Cheadle-led series "House of Lies," the singer/actor has amassed a cult following of hipster celebs.

Kelly Rowland, who had just left Fantasia's listening party, came out to support Gary. 

Super producer The Dream was spotted posing with tv personalities Terrence J and Rocsi Diaz.

Actress Lisa Bonet was spotted with her hot man, actor Jason Momoa.

Larenz Tate, who has a recurring role on "House Of Lies", watched the concert from atop one of the VIP banquettes. 

"Braveheart" singer Dawn Richard was there.

Russell Simmons was seen posing with British folk singer Lianne La Havas.

Producer Marlon Wayans, who's working on the sequel to A Haunted House enjoyed the music. 

Jesse Williams, who'll be appearing in The Butler with Oprah Winfrey and Terrence Howard, gave the camera a sexy scowl.

Malcolm Jamal-Warner was there.....with no Regina King in sight.

Hmmm...

49-year-old fitness expert and actress AJ Johnson gave all the young chicks a run for their money. 

Former child star and "DWTS" contestant Jaleel White checked out the concert with "Psych" acter Dule Hill.

And DJ D-Nice keep the crowd moving on the 1s and 2s.  Seems like everybody was in that piece.  Nice!
