Original member of Destiny's Child, LaTavia Roberson, is three months pregnant! And her baby is due on her former group mate Beyonce's birthday.
Deets inside, plus how LaTavia's gearing up for the spotlight once again....
31-year-old LaTavia Roberson has been staying fab, living in Atlanta and doing local appearances here and there since receiving the axe from Destiny's Child years ago. But after all the drama, all of the original members (plus Michelle) are supportive and loving toward each other's careers. And LaTavia's baby, according to her reps, is ironically due on September 4th....which is also Beyonce's b-day.
So now that LaTavia is the second member of D-Child to have a baby, we're sure the girls are happy for her. And her upcoming reality show and even her tell-all.
According to the press release, LaTavia's child's father is a "well known Alanta producer". So this could be anyone. We do know that for years she dated Jagged Edge member Brandon Casey, but that ended several years ago.
It was also revealed that LaTavia recently signed a production contract with hit reality television producer Carlos King since she's ready to open up about her past, pregnancy and plans for her future.
Executive Producer Carlos, who also did "RHOA", "Oprah's Season 25 Behind The Scenes," "Real Housewives of New Jersey," says,“I’m excited to work with LaTavia to effectively tell her story on television. This is her first time speaking out about her past. This woman has endured more than the public even realizes, and once they hear half of it, they will be in awe. She is a true survivor!”
And let's not forget about that tell-all memoir that's been rumored to be in the works for a while now. THAT is due out later this year. The press release states:
Production plans include developing a reality show documenting Latavia’s pregnancy, the ups and downs of her relationship with her child's father and her past battle with molestation, alcoholism and jail time. Her struggles to distance herself from the negativity surrounding her untimely departure from Destiny's Child, still follow her, but LaTavia is determined to clear the air once and for all. Future plans also include returning to the studio to showcase her voice for the first time as a solo artist and the final release of her highly anticipated “tell all” memoir due later this year!

Bron Bron & Savannah's friends and family are gearing up for a wedding weekend in San Diego....apparently. TMZ got a hold of the couple's Save The Date announcement, and it seems as though the nuptials are going down September 13th-15th.
Seeing that both Bron and Savannah are from Akron, Ohio and now live in Miami, it's a mystery as to why they're jetting across the country for their wedding. Other than, they have an amazing Cali venue and even more amazing weekend planned for themselves and their guests.

Actress and voice over actress, Cree Summer, recently had her and her husband's second child. Meet baby Hero Peregrine inside....
Since starring in "A Different World" over two decades ago, Cree Summer has been the voice of several animated shows and movies and even has dabbled into music. And she's also been creating a family with her husband, Angelo Pullen.
43-year-old Cree, who's currently the voice of the green M&M in the M&M commercials, just posted the first pic of her brand new baby girl. And the name is just as interesting as their oldest daughter's, Brave Littlewing, who's 2.
Cree said about her cutie patootie above, "My How Time Flys , Hero Peregrine already 5 Weeks Old." She also said she was "having fun" with the newborn.

Former reality TV star Deelishis stopped by Hot 107.5 in Detroit to talk about the "aggressive argument" that happened between she and her ex-husband, if she was attacked by strippers and that "leaping out the window" nonsense. Listen to the interview inside....
Reality TV vixen Deelishis has been all over social media recently as rumors about her being attacked by her ex-husband, Orlando Gordon, jumped by a pack of wild strippers and leaping out of a window have been repeated over and over. She stopped by Detroit's Hot 107.5 recently to clear up the rumors and also call folks out for making fun of her and those serious issues....if they had "actually" happened.
Deelishis had a very warm rapport with Big Greg (the host) and it was pretty clear that she wasn't going to go into details. So what did she reveal? She said for LEGAL purposes, she would only talk about what DID NOT happen. Here are the highlights:
On if she was/is a victim of domestic violence at the hands of her ex-husband:
When asked directly if she was a victim of domestic violence, she said "No." She said she could not go into detail about what happened, but she did describe the confrontation between herself and her ex-husband as an "aggressive argument." She went on to add that her ex-husband is a wild man from Detroit who does not want to see her with anyone else. BUT, according to Dee, he did not jump on her.
On if she jumped out of a second story window to escape her ex-husband.
She DID NOT jump out of a window.
On how she sustained her injuries:
She said she "fell" and had an accident while in her "cute" shoes. The fall did occur in the presence of her ex-husband but she made it clear that she DOES NOT owe the audience a full story about what happened. Even as an entertainer, she said what's going on AND what happened between she and her ex-husband is THEIR business. She said she shares a lot on Twitter and Instagram with fans, BUT she also has the right to keep certain things private.
On folks making light of the incident:
“When something happens to a White artist–whether it’s a vixen, an actor, a singer, a dancer–they rally around even the craziest of entertainers. When something happens to a Black singer, rapper, dancer, vixen, model, it’s like you take it as a joke. What if this really happened? Is that funny? Is that something that you joke about?”
On being a survivor:
When she posted that she was a survivor, she said it was her way of telling fans that she has come though a few situations (e.g. a rough marriage, public ridicule, lies & rumors) and she's still standing. She said she is not a domestic violence victim, but she was victimized by this incident.
On if she got beat up by a pack of strippers in Detroit?
"No. That didn't happen"
On comedian Michael Blackson and how he responded to the incident:
Deelishis said that Michael is a comedian and the fact that he can make light of the incident means he WAS NOT harmed. She said, if he was harmed, he would be pressing charges. She added that she was embarrassed that he was around her when she had a domestic situation and she commended him for not pressing charges.
She added that of all the things that have been said about her over the years, this situation hurt her the most. She said she found it hurtful that gossips would take the incident and use it to ridicule and humiliate her.
She closed by repeating that she was not a victim of domestic violence and she was disappointed that her "fans" turned the incident into a joking matter. As she began calling out certain folks like Rickey Smiley and TMZ.
Before she left the interview, she talked about the good things going on for her like an upcoming comedy "Call Me Montana" with comedian Michael Blackson and she's working on a new stage play with Kamal Smith called "The Ultimatum."

R&B crooner Brian McKnight is hyping up the release of his 15th album More Than Words with his old-school flavored single "4th of July." But we're wondering....does he have "it"? Decide if Brian can still floss the silky sound inside....
Brian McKnight caused quite the controversy last year when when his x-rated track "If You're Ready To Learn" went viral and showed that the G-rated songster had a freaky side. And with his first album in two years, More Than Words, due March 19, the singer manages to gives us those lush vocals we've come to love and still expose his naughty side.
And he continues with the controversial ish like what he recently said about another track on the album, “I Didn’t Really Mean To Turn You Out.” He told Huff Post Black Voices:
"...To kind of take people’s minds off the fact that I just really said that. Because we all been there like, “Girl, I told you, you can’t love this d*ck like that. I told you in the beginning.” [Laughs] It’s real tongue and cheek."
Wow.
But outside of his journey to the naughty side, Brian explained why he's still chugging along in a business that's changed drastically over the years:
I really didn’t think I would have this much to say anytime soon. And when the label came to me to say, “would you like to do another record,” I said, “Well I got these sixteen songs sitting here, so let’s do it.” And that was pretty much it...I never stopped writing, it’s just the way that the business is now you just try to find a different model. But once I started writing I said to myself, “Maybe, I’ll do one more, let’s see what happens. Let’s see if the world is ready for another one.” So we’ll see.

Chris Brown is not having a good week in the PR department as he's allegedly fought with his bodyguard, cursed out a valet parking attendant and hopped on stage to deliver an anti-Drake rant. Get the deets inside...
Chris Brown just can't seem to catch a break. To see just how nuts Chris' week has been, let's trace back his steps. Last night, Chris hopped on stage at Emerson Theatre in Hollywood. E! Online reports when the DJ started spinning Drake's song, "Started from the Bottom," Chris hopped on the mic and immediately told the DJ to stop playing the music. He told the crowd, "The DJ can play this s--t, but I want you all to know, F--k Drake!" and gave everyone the middle finger. The rant "naturally" lead into a impromptu performance of "As You Were," "Turn Up the Music" and "Beautiful People."

But before the anti-Drake rant, TMZ reports Chris went to a charity event at PINZ bowling alley in Studio City, CA. After the event ended, Chris attempted to get his car keys from the valet but was told he needed to pay $10. Sounds reasonable right? But once Chris found out that everyone else only paid $5--according to someone in his crew-- he felt like he was taken advantage of. So this may explain why he cursed out the valet saying, "Gimme my f*cking keys ... f*ck ten dollars. Gimme my keys ... we gonna turn this whole spot up ... I promise you." After the threat to "turn the spot up," someone from Chris' entourage paid the ten bucks.
And before the valet incident, there was a plane trip from Bermuda! Sources at E! say Chris had a fight with his bodyguard Big Pat on a prvate plane during a stoppver on the island for fuel. The "fight" was so problematic that Pat reportedly flew home by himself...on JetBlue.
It sounds like Chris needs a vacation from the spotlight. Do we feel like CERTAIN media is targeting Chris for some foolish things? Yes. Should he go out of his way to not give them any reason to? Probably.

Last year, we showed you the first trailer for the futuristic thriller After Earth starring Will Smith and his son Jaden. Now a second trailer has been released along with the new movie poster.
Directed by M. Night Shyamalan, After Earth takes place on "Earth," but more than 1000 years into the future. Will and Jaden play Cypher and Kitai Raige, soldiers who have crash landed on the abandoned planet and must figure out a way to survive in a world that has evolved to kill humans. Also, Zoe Kravitz is slated to appear in the film.

Jill Scott has landed a leading role on the upcoming CBS pilot "Second Sight." Get deets on the show inside and find out who Evan Ross will play in the TLC biopic and see Tina Turner's German VOGUE cover....
Fab chick Jill Scott continues to make major moves in Hollywood. Having already landed leads roles in Steel Magnolias and The No.1 Ladies’ Detective Agency, she's now signed on to co-star with Jason Lee in "Second Sight." The pilot, taped for CBS, is based on the British series, "Second Sight." According to Deadline, it's described as "a gothic psychological thriller about Tanner (Lee), the lead detective with the New Orleans Police Department who is hiding the fact that he has an ocular disorder that causes him to have horrifying hallucinations."
Jill will play Dr. Callier, the specialist who treats Jason's ocular disease. Meanwhile, actor Derek Luke is also a part of the cast, playing Det. Paul Giroux, a new member of Jason's team.
In the meantime, Jill also stars in Fox Searchlight’sBaggage Claim. But music fans shouldn't fear that she's turning her back on performing. In fact, she just booked a gig headlining the Indiana Black Expo concert on July 20.

Evan Ross has joined the cast of the TLC biopic as producer Dallas Austin. Dallas, who's well-known for producing some of TLC's biggest hit, is also the father of Chilli's son Tron.
Evan will join Keke Palmer as Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, Drew Sidora as Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, Lil' Mama as the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, and Donny Boaz as TLC's manager Bill Diggins.
It seems as though they've pretty much filled the major slots but were dying to know who's going to play Pebbles, LA Reid and Babyface!
