After Monday night's on-court war of words that was taken off the court, Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Garnett have reportedly worked things out.  But Melo maintains Kevin crossed a line.  Deets inside....

As we previously reported, rumors swirled that during Monday's heated game, Celtics baller Kevin Garnett told Knicks baller Carmelo a comment about his wife, LaLa, tasting like Honey Nut Cheerios. 

Those specific words have yet to be confirmed, but Melo did tell reporters at practice on Tuesday that Kevin crossed a line:

”There’s certain things that you just don’t say to men, another man.  I felt like we crossed a line, but like I said, we both have an understanding right now, we handled it the way we handled it. Nobody needs to know what was said behind closed doors, so that situation was handled.”

Sounds like the Cheerios statement may not be too far off. 

Carmelo, who skipped out on giving a post-game interview on Monday night because he was rushing to approach Kevin by his bus outside MSG, told reporters the two have worked it out...somewhat.

“I wanted to talk to KG [outside his bus]. I think it was something we both needed to get off our chest and see what really the problem was. No altercations, it was just some words and a conversation that we needed to have.”

“It’s over with for me. Whatever happened last night, happened. The words that was being said between me and Garnett, it happened, can’t take that away.  I lost my cool yesterday, I accept that, but there’s just certain things that push certain people’s buttons.”

Reportedly, the two hashed things out over the phone recently.

The newest "American Idol" judge tossed her cotton candy rainbow wigs and outfits to get a bit more grown up for her new role.  Nicki Minaj hit up the Fox TCA Winter All Star party at The Langham Huntington Hotel and Spa in Pasadena last night.  And we must say, we're digging the simple black wig with chic bangs and curls.  And this sexy semi-backless lace dress for the occasion:

While the ASSets are still on 110 while she walks away in her Zoulou Louboutin sandals, the 30-year-old looks pretty nice.  We like demure Nicki.

In other music news, Fantasia not only posted a few new pics from her "Lose To Win" video shoot to her Instagram, but she revealed some details about her upcoming 4th studio album.

The title will be The Side Effects of You, and it will showcase her rock-soul style she's been speaking about lately.  Fanny told the Tom Joyner Morning Show about writing for her new album:

"It's my baby because I finally got to write. They allowed me to write on this album and a lot of the songs we did, we did from scratch. We actually lived in the studio and I've always wanted to do something different. They always say R&B and I love R&B, but for me, at the level I'm at right now, I kept saying I want to do something like Rock-Soul. When you say Rock-Soul you think of Tina Turner. You think of James Brown. I just wanted so bad to always do something like that and I thank the record company, RCA, for allowing me to do that on this album."

Her lead single, "Lose To Win," was not originally slated for her album, but she says she put it on there anyway because it just fit for her.

"When I listened to the lyrics of the song, to me it wasn't just about a relationship, it was about my whole career. It's been ten years for me. There's been ups. There's been downs. There's been people to walk away. There's just been a lot for me. So the message was strong for me and I just had to record it."

The albmu is due out this March.

And finally, Beyonce will be back in D.C. for the Presidential Inauguration festivities this year.  The Baddie chick has been tapped for one of the biggest honors--she will belt out the National Anthem for President Barack Obama's Inauguration ceremony on January 21.  And she will be front and center at the West Front of the U.S. Capitol.

It's no secret that the Knowles-Carters are friends of the Obamas.  And after the R&B diva sang "AT Last" for the Presidential couple at their first Inauguration, they decided to ask her back for the official ceremony.

Kelly Clarkson will be singing "My Country Tis Of Thee" (which Aretha Franklin rocked last Inauguration), while James Taylor will sing "America The Beautiful."  Nice!

Shawty Lo is letting folks know he takes care of his.  All ten babies' mamas and 11 kids.  Is this an effort to save his upcoming reality show--which is possibly on the chopping block before it even starts?

With his Oxygen show "All My Babies' Mamas" catching scorching hot heat before it starts. Shawty Lo is speaking about the controversy.

The show was reportedly going to portray how the "Dey Know" ATL rapper lives his day to day life with the 10 women who are the mothers of his 11 children.  People went ape sh*t about the horrible example this portrayed for the black community, especially when Shawty could barely remember the names of all his kids in one preview scene.

It's hard to believe one man--with about 1 mainstream hit--could properly care for eleven small children.  Which is why this show seemed to be a set up for foolery.  Hence, the labels of the baby mamas:

Sigh.  But Shawty says he takes care of his.  Except for that one "difficult" baby mama.  He told MTV:

"I take care of all my kids. ... Outta all the 10 baby mamas, I just have problems outta one. That's it," he said. "She has two kids by me, and she feel like I'm supposed to do more for her kids, and she don't wanna work. She just want me to straight take care of them, but it's all love. I handle it."

Of course.  He went on to say some men with only 1 child barely take care of theirs, but he's doing what he's supposed to for all 11.  Both financially and emotionally:

"It's a lot of fathers don't take care of one; I gotta deal with 11. I gotta deal with nine girls and two boys."

"Even if you ain't got the money, you gotta be a father to your child. You need to be in your child's life, 'cause that means a lot to them. Comin' up, we didn't have Thanksgiving, we didn't have Christmas, but if I had my father there, if I even had my mother there, I probably wouldn't have been that person I was in the streets."

He also blames his "big drug money fame" and thirsty women for how he got into this situation:

"I came to be one of the largest drug dealers to come from Atlanta, Bankhead area and I started havin' kids. When the money came, a lot of women came," he said, estimating he was a millionaire by the time he turned 21. "Once you feel like a girl was your girlfriend or whatever, the rubber probably came off," he said candidly. "They wouldn't have an abortion. They used to take the money and run with it, and they'd have a baby by the most popular guy in the street, and that's how I had all them kids."

Alrighty then.  He seems to avoid taking responsibility for his situation saying, "You can hate all you want to, I didn't ask for it. It just happened."

Taking off a condom doesn't "just happen."  It's something that was done. But we digress. Check out his video interview with MTV below:

Drama is still poppin' off with the "Basketball Wives" even when the cameras are turned off.  Brooke Bailey claims Bambi put out a hit on her for somebody to beat up Brooke.  And she posted the proof...

While rumors say Brooke, Bambi and the rest of the crew (except Draya and Jackie Christie) have gotten the axe, it hasn't stopped the drama from ensuing.

Carmelo Anthony has been suspended for 1 game without pay...all because of him pulling an old school tactic of waiting for Kevin Garnett by the bus.

After Monday night's exchange of words...several times...landed off the court and in MSG's tunnel where the opposing team boards their buses, Carmelo got handed his punishment today.

Melo said he just wanted to "talk" to Celtics baller Kevin Garnett about some things.  But we all know what could have gone down had things escalated further.  And Melo has yet to comment about Kevin's alleged"Your wife tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios" jab about LaLa.

NBA EVP of basketball operations Stu Jacksonsaid about the suspension today:

"There are no circumstances in which it is acceptable for a player to confront an opponent after a game.  Carmelo Anthony attempted to engage with Kevin Garnett multiple times after Monday's game and therefore a suspension was warranted."

We're sure this all comes as a surprise to Melo, since he told reporters during Tuesday's practice, "If you just go off the actual facts of what happened, I don't think anything will happen."

Oh...but it did.  He won't suffer any REAL loss of cash or anything with his $60-million 3-year contract in tact.  But it's just the principle.

We'll see what goes down when the Knicks travel to Boston in a few weeks for a rematch.  Get ready...

We, along with many other people, have indeed noticed just how much time LaLa & Carmelo Anthony have NOT been spending together over the last few months.  La went from being at every game of Carmelo's and tweeting constant pics from their QT together....to barely even mentioning her husband for the past four months.

The newest reports inside about their marriage being allegedly on the rocks...

Rumors have been taking off this week that there's trouble in Carmelo & LaLa Anthony's marital paradise.  The fact they have not been seen together in four months (when they're usually attached at the hip in front of a camera), and La seemed to celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Eve without her man....made folks believe something was going on.

The "Your wife tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios" diss from Kevin Garnett to Melo Monday night (a game LaLa actually showed up to) was another drop in bucket that pushed breakup rumor further.

Of course, LaLa's relatives maintain she has never slept with Kevin (and we don't believe she has either).  But what people are really wondering about is, what's really going on with the Anthonys?

The NY Post reports today:

“It is true they haven’t seen much of each other in the past few months,” says a friend of the couple. “She’s been away a lot filming her show, ‘La La’s Full Court Life,’ in London, New York and LA. They are not separated and are still together. She and Melo have a house in LA — so she’s always there when she’s doing auditions.”

And other sources tell the Post that La has been partying everywhere from Miami to NYC to L.A. solo dolo, and that's not rubbing Melo the right way.  So they are rumored to be living apart:

Sources add that La La’s also been partying with girlfriends from Mexico to Miami, which has displeased Melo and “made him angry.”

According to multiple sources, the pair had been seeking a new home over the summer and were checking out apartments in TriBeCa for up to $25,000 a month. But the search cooled along with the relationship. “During the summer they were looking for a new apartment constantly,” said a source. “About two months ago, that completely dried up. They don’t even return their brokers’ phone calls anymore.”

Didn't her bestie Charlamagne da God tell her sometimes a man just wants his woman to be at home while he's out traveling for work?  And not out constantly partying?  He may have been right.

Still, neither Melo or LaLa have spoken directly on any split or marital problems.  So...

On the episode, which will air January 14, Jada spoke about her work to bring international awareness to human trafficking.

Jada, who recently lent her voice to Madagascar 3, will soon be lending support on the red carpet to her hubby Will and son Jaden when they star in After Earth hitting the big screen this summer.

Singer Keyshia Cole is seeing red and accusing her sister Neffe Pugh of bashing her in her second book Price I Paid. Get the details inside....

Woman To Woman singer Keyshia Cole seems to be at odds with certain family members after a series of tweets revealed a rift among the siblings. 

Keyshia first tweeted a series of rants (seemingly aimed at sister Neffie) saying,

"How many of y'all have leaches in your own family? I need to know I'm not alone!

Bitch talk about me in ya book and wearing the shoes I gave u on the cover? Fucking Bogus! ��

Gotta keep munch man from all that drama tho. It's not coo like that" 

Those tweets referred to Neffe's last book, Price I Paid, where she recounts the impact appearing on reality tv (“The Way It Is” & “Frankie & Neffe”) had on her life and how going on to do "Frankie & Neffe" without Keyshia's consent produced a big strain among the sisters.  But clearly....Keyshia didn't want Neffe to share that infomation with the public.

Neffe spoke to The Breakfast Club about the rift saying,

“Keyshia did not want us to do a reality show period because she wanted it to be done in the right way, and I respect her whole-heartedly for that. Everybody out there was looking at our family like we had no control, no morals, no principles, no values, like we were uneducated. She didn’t want that.”

Keyshia's Neffe rant was later followed by a tweet that was aimed at their mom Frankie...

Unfortunately, outside of Keyshia's very controlled portrayal of her life on"Keyshia & Daniel: Family First," it seems there are still family members keeping up drama in her life. But ironically, it's the "drama" that draws Keyshia's fans to both her and her music.

Best of luck to Frankie and all of her kids. We'll be watching...

*UPDATE* Keyshia recently did an interview with Cleveland's 107.9 station.  And she revealed that she and Neffe, despite growing up together, would constantly fight as adults.  Even after the award shows Keyshia would bring the family to.  Keyshia said it's going ot take miracle...or Oprah...to help them get to the root of the problem.

What's interesting is that Cassie (who's working on a mixtape called Rock-a-Bye-Baby) joined Diddy at the same appointment, but made sure to walk out a few steps after him on their search for a new home together.

On her website today, Bey wrote a note to fans saying, "I am so proud to announce the first original Destiny's Child music in eight years!"

Yep....a new Destiny's Child album is on the way.  And it's called Love Songs.

It is mainly a compilation of "romantic gems" recorded between 1997 and 2004, reportedly they will be unreleased tracks.  Love Songs will also feature "Nuclear," the first new Destiny's Child song since 2004. Produced by Pharrell Williams (who co-wrote the track with DC's Michelle Williams, James Fauntleroy and Lonny Bereal), "Nuclear" features vocal production by Beyoncé and Lonny Bereal.

You can pre-order the album over at Amazon now.  As if taking over the Superbowl, being crowned GQ's Hottest Woman of the 21st century, pushing out an HBO documentary and working on a new solo album weren't enough.  Chick is now circling back with her girls Kelly& Michelle for another go-round of the group life.

Fab chick Nana Meriwether, previously Miss Maryland 2012, went on to assume the title Miss USA 2012 yesterday during a special ceremony held at Trump Tower.  Find out more about the pageant queen inside....

Nana Meriwether, a 27-year-old South African beauty, was crowned Miss USA 2012 yesterday during a ceremony held at Trump Tower in New York City.  Nana, who represented the state of Maryland in the 2012 Miss USA pageant, was originally first runner-up in the competition but assumed the title thanks to Olivia Culpo's big win at the Miss Universe 2012 pageant.

Donald Trump, who owns the Miss Universe organization, commented on the extraordinary women who compete in the pageant saying,"They're brilliant, they're really into charity and the world of charity, and they're phenomenal people. They're very solid. In many cases, they went to the best colleges. In the case of Nana, she was a great athlete—a volleyball player [at UCLA]. "

In fact, the word "great" might be an understatement as Nana was a "two-time NCAA All-American, a Collegiate Volleyball Update Player of the Year and a holder of three national NCAA women’s volleyball records"at UCLA. She also played professional volleyball in Puerto Rico and trained for the 2008 Olympics.

Nana, who also posed with fellow YBF chick Miss Teen USA Logan West, has taken both the LSAT and the MCAT and is currently applying to medical schools while assuming the role of Miss USA and running The Meriwether Foundation, which supports AIDS/HIV clinics schools and orphanages in five African countries.

And there's an interesting reality tv tie-in to Nana's win as many folks have commented that she looks a lot like "RHOA" star Cynthia Bailey who had a famous run-in with former Miss USA Kenya Moore.  Kenya even tweeted about Nana's win....

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Chris Rainey was arrested for slapping his girlfriend in the face during an argument this morning. Find out more about the arrest inside....

Chris Rainey, a running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers was charged with one count of simple battery this morning after he allegedly slapped his girlfriend in the face.  

Police in Gainsville, Florida say witnesses called 911 after seeing Chris and his girlfriend involved in a tussle which included a face slap.  Witnesses say the fight began over Chris' cell phone which his girlfriend apparently snatched away from him before she tried to lock herself in his rommate's car.  

Chris yanked her out of the car and allegedly slapped her face during a tussle that ended with both of them falling to the ground.  Although the girlfriend managed to escape, she was grabbed by Chris again and both of them fell to the ground a second time. 

The police added that neither of them seemed visibly injured from the tussle, but Chris was still taken into custody.

Despite scoring two touchdowns for the organization this season, TMZ reports that the Pittsburgh Steelers have fired Chris Rainey from the team after allegations surfaced that he assaulted his girlfriend yesterday. 

"Got Me Good" singer Ciara was seen dining out in Beverly Hills with rapper Future.  And with rumors of the two former collaborators now dating, we can only wonder if this was a more-than-friends lunch.  See pics of the two inside....

Ciara was seen walking into the popular Beverly Hills eatery Crustacean yesterday with rapper Future.  You might recall that Future lent his voice to her "Sorry" (Remix) a few months ago.  And rumor has it the two have taking their work relationship....a bit more personal.  No confirmation on that yet though...

We're not sure if the pair are still collaborating in the studio but they sure seem to be "collaborating" on outfits with both wearing sweatshirts, two chains around their necks and Nike Air tennis shoes.  

Ciara fans can catch her on an upcoming episode of MTV's "This Is How I Made It" airing on January 12th at 11/12C.
