Rihanna is currently traveling around with Chris Brown as he continues his Carpe Diem tour.  And she posted a pic of herself under the covers this mornin saying: Good morning! Still haven't slept lol #hello2013

But it was Chris Brown's tweet that made everyone realize they were actually laying in bed together:

He said, "Morning."  And they clearly stayed up all night....

Down in Miami, LeBron James and fiancee' Savannah headed out to a party, just one day after Bron's 29th birthday.

And they were likely going to meet their friends Gabby Union, Dwyane Wade and Adrienne & Chris Bosh at James Royal Palm:

Teyana Taylor and Karrueche Tran made all kinds of nice while partying it up in Miami at Euforia nightclub.  They were each other's midnight kiss.  And clearly the good friends liked it.

With her long toned legs and flowing brown curls, legendary tennis champion Serena Williams was spotted rocking a pretty floral print dress during day two of Australia's Wheel of Brisbane tennis tournament in South Bank.

The Olympic gold medalist revealed that she's given up her old party ways to devote total focus on her tennis game. 

"I’m really boring now. I used to be fun - for a fun time...Now for a fun time do not call me. I think I just got older and I realized I can’t be that fun girl for the rest of my life. I could be the oldest number one. I don’t know how that goes with the funnest."

And Serena even spent NYE very quietly as she prepped for her game saying,"I’ve been having insomnia, I don't know what time zone I’m in. I’m nocturnal right now. I was awake for New Year’s Eve. I heard the fire crackers and I would have loved to have seen it but I had a match today so I didn’t do anything fun."

Former co-star of "Real Housewives of Miami" Larsa Pippen is still getting snapped by the paps.  She and her former NBA star hubby Scottie Pippen made their way out to the beach in their hometown of Miami.  And 47-year-old Scottie, who currently serves as senior advisor to Bulls' President & COO Michael Reinsdorf, was on daddy duty carrying daughter Sofia around as they made their way to the valet stand:

Larsa gave a little insight into how she raises the couples' kids after the world saw how absolutely spoiled she was herself.  She said on her Bravo blog during season 1 of "RHOM":

“I have the means to spoil my kids with whatever they want, but I choose not to because they have to understand the value of hard work.  My kids get rewarded for their efforts at school. So when I got their report cards from school, and saw their good grades I had to reward them. They said they wanted some pets and that they would care for them. I took them to a pet shop and we bought a rabbit, turtle, and a couple of lizards. They have been doing a great job of caring for their little buddies.”

Anywho, Larsa now spends her days chillin' out with the fam and kickin' it with her good friend Kim K. whenever she's in town.

Mariah Carey dazzled fans in Australia yesterday with a mesmerizing performance of some of her biggest hits.  See the diva, who actually pulled off a HIT with her look this time, bring in the new year with her family and fans inside....

Wearing a tight white dress with silver tassels, Precious star and R&B diva Mariah Carey gave a sparkling performance in a Povani Resort 2013 dress at the Gold Coast Exhibition Centre near the city of Brisbane in Australia last night.  All to celebrate the new year.
 

Fresh from her holiday in Aspen, Colorado, Mimi was joined on stage by her husband Nick Cannon and Dem Babies Monroe and Moroccan. 

As she preps for her upcoming concert in Sydney tomorrow, the American Idol judge did manage to take in a few sights as she was seen (not pictured here) on an exploration of the Great Barrier Reef on Saturday.  And she did this from the view of her yacht.  Must be nice Mariah!

Former NBA baller Latrell Sprewell was arrested in Milwaukee, WI yesterday for disorderly conduct.  Find out what he did inside and hear why Lil' Flip says his arrest for carrying an assault rifle was bogus....

Latrell Sprewell, who used to score hoops for the Golden State Warriors and the NY Knicks, scored a court date yesterday after he was busted for disorderly conduct. 

Cops in Milwaukee responded to a residence on the east side of the city around 4:15pm yesterday after receiving two loud noise complaints.  The police report does not say why Latrell was arrested or if he even lives at the house, but we know from his past (he once choked and threatened Golden Start Warriors head coach P.J. Carlesimo) that he has a bit of a temper. 

The Milwaukee County district attorney's office is investigating and we'll keep you posted.

And in other arrests.....

Remember we told you that Houston rapper Lil' Flip had been arrested for drug and gun possession in Louisiana?  Despite having us scratching our heads about "why" he needs to drive around with an AR-15 assault rifle, Lil' Flip claims he is within his constitutional rights to have the weapon.

It turns out that he DOES have a valid license to carry the gun in 22 states (including Louisiana) and he says he needs it because he's been shot before.

As for the marijuana....he says it was just a few "Black and Mild" cigars and he is "not one of those rappers who would carry drugs on me. I know better."

"I know they don't mess around in Louisiana and I wouldn't do anything to make me go to the big house. Especially on Christmas night."

Alrighty then....tell it to the judge.

Azealia Banks goes ratchet trap star on her new "BBD" track.  The "Bad B*tches Do It" song is the first single off her upcoming debut studio album Broke With Expensive Taste, out February 12th.

The sassy fashion rebel posted the lyrics on her Tumblr account.  And has recently spoken out about becoming anti-fashion and anti-rap...the two very things that got her here in the first place.  But she says she's not interested in getting pigeonholed into those fickle IT-girl roles.  Azealia told Hypetrak mag:

“I think that too much fashion attention as an artist can actually smother you. And it can actually really, really distract from your music. And I kind of almost got there with it, you know what I mean? Where it was like, fashion fashion fashion fashion fashion. And I was like this fashion darling. Also on television....

Producers in the mecca of Black Hollywood aka Atlanta have now trained their reality show cameras on the church with TLC's "The Sisterhood."  As they attempt to answer the question "What does a pastor's wife have in common with a basketball wife" (Ok...that was actually our question), the show pits five first ladies against each other in the same vein of "BBW" and "RHOA." 

The question is whether this will shed a negative light on spirtuality or will people just see it for what it is....entertainment. 

It is a little interesting to see women arguing over the scripture instead of throwing cocktails (but that may just be this episode).  We see Dominique putting one of the other ladies (Tara - who knows the Bible BETTER than anyone else so she thinks) in her place with a line like, 

"Now, if I’m talking to my spiritual daughter or I’m talking to another person I’m trying to convert, yes I’m going to give them a scripture. But I don’t need to give you the scripture, because you know the scripture!"

Smh....it's not as shocking as Evelyn jumping over a table but....maybe its worth a look?

Skateboard loving rapper Lil' Wayne inked a new tattoo on his face recently.  The new tatt reads "BAKED" and is the actual logo for Baker Skateboards.  Clearly Weezy's solidifying his love for the sport.

"Climax" singer Usher is set to take over the reins on NBC's "The Voice" and we have a first look at him in the judge's chair inside...... 

When NBC's "The Voice" returns to television on March 25, veteran judges Adam Levine and Blake Shelton will be joined be Shakira and R&B superstar Usher.  Christina Aguilera and Cee-Lo will be taking a leave for a while to work on their albums. 

For fans who are wondering how the crooner's suave style will translate on camera, he says,

"My style is more military than anything because I'm all about the preparation. My style is to make them understand the seriousness of the craft and that they have the very best opportunity to be the greatest -- or the worst -- depending on how you take it."

And Usher's new co-workers are thrilled to have him on board because he's already proved that he has what it takes to pic out talent (e.g. Justin Bieber) Adam Levine said,

"As much as I hate to say this about another coach in the beginning, Usher has done what this show has yet to do - launch a superstar and that's our goal. That's something we want to do as an institution."

New York native Azealia Banks and Brooklyn transplant (via Detroit) Angel Haze had a nasty war of words on Twitter yesterday where disses about everything from skin tone to hair texture played out in front of their hardcore fans.  Now the ladies have taken their war to the studio with Angel releasing "On The Edge" and Azealia hitting back with "No Problems."

We have both tracks for you to decide who's really running New York (or whatever city each lady is claiming for now).

Nene also talked about appearing on the cover of EBONY's Money & Power issue saying that she always dreamed of being on the cover and it was a great honor.

Loving her these days....

Last night at Kiss & Fly in NYC, the cast of "Love & Hip Hop 3" hosted their premiere party.  And TheYBF.com was on the scene to soak up the foolery to come.

Joe Budden & his new girlfriend Kailyn (with co-star Winter Ramos to the right) were front and center at last night's premiere party. 

As for why Joe is on the show....his ex-girlfriend TahiryJose and his best friend Raqi (who Tahiry believes he was cheating on her with) are on, and with him, we have a love triangle.  Surprise surprise.

On the first Episode Joe has a “pool party” (but no one was there) and they decide to play a game Truth or Truth (instead of Truth or Dare).  Of course, Raqi and Tahiry get into a sight physical altercation after she asked Joe if he and Rocky had ever been intimate. This led to Joe escorting Rocky off his property and folks really believing something was going on between them....

But we doubt anything is going on now as we spoke to both Joe & Raqi after the screening, and both claim the other "changed for the cameras."  So they are no longer friends.

"Model" Erica Mena is returning from last season.  But she doesn't have any fights with former co-star Kimbella to worry about.  Because Kimbella's not returning and Erica's got her new fianceRich Dollaz to protect her.  Sigh.

This iCandy Couture dress pretty much showed everything's she's got.  So that's what we're doing this season.

Rich posed it up with Hot 97's Ebro.

Rashidah Ali (red hair) posed with co-star Tahiry Jose.  Tahiry's "dress", by The Fabric Twins, put her bra on full cut-out display.  And Rashidah is storring up her own bit of drama.  During the premiere, she says she has known Yandy's baby's daddy Mandeecees for a long time, and he not the Boss he claims to be.  Womp.

Yandy's curvy bod is back in effect post-baby.  And she looked great. 

On the premiere,  we will see more of her personal life this time around. It seems like her baby's daddy Mandeecees is having a hard time growing up after becoming a father.  He even left her baby shower early and went to the club to pop bottles that night.  Of course, Yandy was not happy about this.

Couple Jen the Pen & Consequence talked about their situation and their child together.

And the woman behind it all, Mona Scott Young, posed it up with her husband Shawn.

Tahiry Jose, the urban covergirl who first caught the public's eye as Joe Budden girlfriend is set to stir the pot on season 3 of VH1's hit reality series "L&HH." Check out TheYBF.com's exclusive interview inside....

VH1 is amped up for season 3 of its urban soap-opera"Love & Hip Hop" (January 7) and this season we'll see a cast of both new and familiar faces who are full of excitement and drama. 

One of the new faces gracing the small screen will be Dominican model Tahiry Jose (shown atop with co-star Rashidah Ali at Thursday night's premiere party).  The Harlem native first rose to fame through a series of online video posts from her then boyfriend, rapper Joe Budden (who also stars on "L&HH").

Though the show has yet to debut, the drama between the former couple has already spilled off screen and into social media with the pair bickering about Joe rapping about her on his most recent mixtape, A Loose Quarter. 

Tahiry spoke exclusively to TheYBF.com about it all.  Here are the highlights:

With many people labeling you a video ho or rapper arm piece, explain the image YOU are trying to convey:

I am being really "real" on tv and it's not an act. I am hard-working and I’m a college graduate whose grown into a business woman and who's building my brand. I hope to show the whole world that dating a rapper is not all glitz and glamour and I’m a regular person.  I'm "human."

On how she was “discovered” and began her career in the industry

I started doing blogs with Joe. I don’t think he knew what he was doing....he was just putting the camera on his girlfriend. He uploaded it to YouTube and the world loved it. And now, several years later, I’ve done almost every urban magazine and appeared in the movie, Interlude.

On if she feels like Joe Budden discovered her

I believe he put me out there.  BUT, you could put a camera on anybody and you won’t get the same effect. He's had a thousand girlfriends and he’s put the camera on each and every one of them.  But there’s a reason why I’m here…..still. He helped me over the edge….

On finding out Joe was a part of "LAHH 3"

I remember the day exactly. I had held onto the contract for a week and I had it in my gym bag. I was just walking and reminding myself to sign the contract, then I got a phone call. They said Joe had signed a contract and he’s a part of "Love & Hop Hop" and my day became CLOUDY. Like literally, everything just stopped around me and I was 'f*ck f*ck f*ck'. And then I said, what the hell. Who am I fooling? Together or not together, that’s why we got on the show.

On Joe talking about her on his mixtape and VH1 wanting them to film together

In retrospect, everything is funny and you get over situation. But in the moment, it’s my real life. I can’t be mad at VH1, we both signed on for this. But still, there’s also real life happening, I mean what you see on tv is real, but it’s moving a lot slower than real life (the mixtape situation happened AFTER they filmed). So it’s difficult because I am not pretending. But Joe does that all the time. He raps about me all the time and he holds on to sh*t.

On what she hopes to gain from being on "L&HH"

Like I said, I’m just being me and I’m enjoying the ride.   I want to be the next Nene Leakes. Why the f*ck not? Let’s get it. I mean, I been doing this for four years so now it’s time to take it up a notch.

On reservations about going on LAHH and her Twitter gangsters…

I come from blogging about my life but the main thing with this is we weren’t in control. Just knowing that I’m not in control scares me. And now it’s a bigger audience…I mean this is on tv! It’s crazy. But it’s been fun. And on the internet thugs, thing can get quite harsh…I am human. I've got a thick skin and it comes with the territory.

On what we expect in the near future?

I am building my empire, which is a little bit of everything. From clothes to music to acting. I’ve covered almost every urban magazine out there….just have a little piece of me everywhere. I'm also looking into opening my own bar/lounge in Florida (South Beach).

The "Love On Top" chick posted new pics to her Instagram page Friday night showing off her look of the day.  She managed to stay fab despite the freezing cold and trekked her nude spiked Pigalle Christian Louboutin pumps to her office in midtown Manhattan.

Today also marks her mom, Tina Knowles', 59th birthday, so the fam may have been off to celebrate.  Or maybe she was working on her upcoming Superbowl halftime performance coming up next month. Or...maybe working on a possible new collabo with Lady Gaga and Azealia Banks.

After Bey posted a pic of herself rocking Ratchet earrings and looking like she was having some fun on a video set--with a video camera in the background--folks started believing that she was hopping on Gaga's upcoming "Ratchet" track she recorded with Azealia Banks.  Gaga also posted her own Ratchet earrings back in November.

Azealia is a self-proclaimed huge Beyonce fan, and Gaga has already rocked out with Beyonce on two previous collabos.

Shawne Merriman, a star baller for the Buffalo Bills, is the latest athlete who has stripped down for PETA's "Ink Not Mink" campaign.

Putting his body art to work for a good cause, Mr. "Lights Out" wants fans to choose warm materials that spare animals pain and suffering.

PETA Senior Vice President Lisa Lange spoke of his involvement saying,

"Shawne Merriman is a tough opponent on the field, but it's as plain as the words on his chest that he has a heart of gold for animals. Football's a rough sport, but as PETA's undercover videos show, it has nothing on the violence of the fur industry."

Both Bill Cosby & Tempestt Bledsoe were coincidentally booked to be on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" on Friday night to talk about their respective new projects.  So, of course, Jimmy made it into an impromptu "Cosby Show" reunion.  Check out some cute video inside...

Tempestt Bledsoe stars on NBC's newest comedy "Guys With Kids," which is also produced by Jimmy.  So the actress turned talk show host turned actress again hit up the couch to talk about working with her tv husband Anthony Anderson. 

Bill Cosby, on the show to discuss his new book, I Didn't Ask To Be Born, was also on the show.  So the twosome revealed a few behind the scenes Cosby secrets that went down during the show.

"Rack City" rapper Tyga stopped by Big Boy's neighborhood to talk about his baby mama Blac Chyna, his Young Money partners, gambling, and his next moves in the music business.  Watch the interview inside....

Tyga promoted his "187" single with Rick Ross on Big Boy neighborhood recently and revealed that there's meaning behind the song title (e.g. he's murdering the game).  He also said he hopes to work with Chris Brown on a new mixtape at some point,“Whenever we stop driving Lambos and posting pictures on Instagram, maybe we could finish it.”

He talked about his love for his baby mamaBlac Chyna. When asked who said"I love you" first or if sings songs to her, he said he isn't that type of dude.  This either means he doesn't do those things or he just wouldn't reveal them in public.

He did offer up, “We got a real gangsta relationship. Ya’ll not gonna see us doing no crazy, corny stuff. We go to the strip club together, do stuff like that.” Big tried his hardest to get him to show his senstivtive side but it didn't work.

And if he had to chose between saving Nicki Minaj or Drake from drowning and there was only room for one on a life raft, he'd save Nicki. And between Drake and Lil' Wayne, he said "I'd extend both hands." Then he admitted, he'd save Wayne.

He also talked about his love of roulette and revealed that though he's not a big gambler, he's had nights where he's lost at least $40,000.
